Having Fun at 91!

Michael Ballam stopped by to suprise Grandma with some songs on her birthday. She couldn't believe it was him and said, "Show me who you are!" He was impressed that she knew all the words to her favorite hymn, "Each Life that Touches Ours for Good". He sang several of her favorite songs and she sang along.

Later in the day her good friend, Russ, stopped by with his wife and some family and serenaded her as well with some original songs.

She was delighted with the new picnic table that we gave her. It had no slivers!

She is feeling better but gets frustrated hauling her oxygen around.

So, I'm totally just figuring a lot of these features out! I totally didn't know you could leave comments on peoples posts. How fun is that? Does anyone else know any tips I should know? Help a sista out!
By the way.......
HAPPY 39th ANNIVERSARY MOM AND DAD!
We love you so very much!

Update

Well, It's been a long time since I have posted any pictures of filled anyone in on what going on in the Lyda world. I hope that you all got the pictures I sent to mom. I thought they turned out really cute.
Well Abby is on the move. She has been Army crawling for quite some time, but she is now pulling up on everything, and even trying to walk to other things. She falls almost all the time, but practice makes perfect! She was started standing up in her crib, so every morning or after naps I find her standing waiting for me to come. It's pretty funny. Do any of you remember when Lindsay was army crawling, and she would turn to the side a pose? Well Abby does the same thing and Grandma Lyda got a great picture of it, so thats whats below. This is also one of Abbys favorite things. She loves to climb throught the coffee table and Grandma and Papa Lyda's house. She loves how she can get to the other side, and even see up through the glass. This was another great pic!

Well we are all keeping busy with Abby and work. I'm also finishing my last class for LPN school. I should be getting my application in here pretty soon for the Spring semester. I'm liking working at the Birthplace. I get to scrub in for C-sections, and it gets very stressfull sometimes, and you sure get to see some very interesting things! Like 1 pound babies! I sure like it though.

I hope all of you got the word that we are coming to Utah! We are coming August 12-16 which is a tues through sat. I hope all of you will try to come and see us. Is anyone wanting to go to the balloons this year? I think it would be great fun! Let me know what you all think. We love and miss you all and can't wait to see you in a few months. Love you!

I just got my "professional" pictures in the mail this week, so I thought I'd post them.
Also, for those of you who don't know, I may have my own building next month. As of this moment in time (which always changes), it looks like they want to try me out in Albany - a town just outside of Corvallis. The administrator there put in his notice. I should schedule to take my exams next month and if I pass, I'm legit. Pretty cool.....and a little scary. Is anyone else out there? Where's the pictures people?

Anne and her latest Adventure

Hi Everybody! I recently jumped off the highest legal bungee jumping bridge in the United States.....twice! Now I'm a member of the Dangerous Sports Club and get to go a lot cheaper next time - - plus I can do a running dive. It was a lot scarier than the bungee towers - - but well worth it! I went with by boss's boss - soon to be my future boss, (to my left) her mom, and her friend, Steve. Wendy's sister called it networking through insanity. Hope you enjoy the pictures!
